Stephen Crowley talks about the RED CARPET!
“Whether it’s a movie premier or a major awards event, the RED CARPET has become an iconic image of Hollywood. Fans have been lining up to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars since the 1920′s.
What does it mean to be a celebrity on the RED CARPET? The word CELEBRITY comes from the word CELEBRATE. A CELEBRITY is basically a CELEBRATED person. That could be anybody; the Bride at a wedding, or the guest of honor at a business convention. Celebrities are people in the spotlight. Today, people are famous for simply being famous!
I believe the attraction of the RED CARPET is simple. It is an alluring fantasy to imagine oneself as a celebrity. It seems to me, fans gravitate towards the celebrity they can identify with the most. That is the person you can see yourself being. Most every celebrity once walked in our shoes; perhaps dreaming of one day becoming a star, walking the RED CARPET. Just remember, every star in the sky began as a dark cloud of dust and gasses before it burst into brilliance; every diamond made it’s start as a lump of coal!
That’s what The daily RED CARPET is all about! Everyone who visits The Daily RED CARPET is a Star! We are all made of Star Dust! Everyone has that Star Potential! I hope, more than anything, that The Daily RED CARPET will not only entertain the people who visit, but inspire them, as well!”
